How to Send Website Assets (Images, Files, etc).

WebMaestra uses a custom Dropbox for ALL file sharing.

I do not use Google Drive, the support ticket system, or e-mail for file sharing.
This policy is the same for all clients for efficiency and security reasons.



How to Send Text Content and Code

Preferred: paste the text directly into the ticket it pertains to.

Acceptable, but may cost more:  PDF

Never acceptable:  A screenshot.


How to Send Screenshots

Screenshots are not preferred unless requested.

More helpful:  In the ticket, mention the issue and the browser and device it is occurring on. I will try to duplicate it on my end and ask for a screenshot if needed.


How to Send Images

Preferred File Types: JPG, JPEG, PNG

Acceptable but will cost more: GIF, PSD, PDF

Never accepted: AI


How to Send Video

Videos are large files and require special handling. Please ask in the ticket how I need the video delivered.

Videos that are not requested and uploaded to dropbox will be deleted immediately.


How to Send Other/Miscellaneous Files

File types: .mp4, mp3, .mov, Fonts, .xml, .csv, .pdf, .sql, .zip, etc.

What happens if I send files through the ticketing system?

WebMaestra's e-mail server is set to block most attachments for security purposes. 


If you send attachments through e-mail or the ticketing system, you will receive an automated e-mail directing you to these instructions. Please follow the instructions above :)
