WebMaestra's operations are located in California and we are an independently run business, not an employee or a sub-contractor.
1099s and W-9
We do not provide w-9s. If you need a receipt for your taxes, we are happy to provide one.
As of 2022, all payments to WebMaestra are made via a TPSO (third party payment service.) These companies are already reporting our income to the IRS via 1099-K, and providing a w9 to our clients would create a double reporting situation.
Workers Compensation Insurance
The state of California does not require or make available workers compensation insurance to sole proprietorships. WebMaestra is not your employee and no workers compensation insurance is required.
